Peabody's Atomic Roasters Delivers 'Loud Pow' To Elevate Youth Project

The coffee roaster will donate $2 from each specialty brew sale to the local nonprofit that empowers youth through outdoor exploration.

Peabody-based coffee company Atomic Coffee Roasters is partnering with local nonprofit Elevate Youth to help fund the organization's efforts to empower young people on the North Shore through outdoor exploration and mentorships through its new "Loud Pow" blend.

The Golden Road: Walking from Maine to Key West for a good cause

Matt and Grace Grooms set out on a mission to raise $100,000 for kids by walking the length of the East Coast Greenway from Maine to Key West. They hope to make the world a better place one step at a time. The East Coast Greenway stretches 3,000 miles from the United States-Canada border in Maine all the way to Key West in Florida. A husband and wife are walking that entire stretch to raise money for kids.

A couple and their pets have been on a meaningful journey for a cause, walking from Maine all the way down the east coast to Florida to help empower children.

Husband and wife team go on 3,000 mile mission for a cause  

Matt and Grace Grooms know something about walking the walk. Two years ago the husband and wife team made the trek from Huntington Beach, California to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to raise money for charity and, this year, they have come east only to go south.
